Eiseman fully supports the Kimberly Process Certification Scheme (KPCS). Established in 2002 by governments, our industry, and human rights to prevent the sales of conflict diamonds. The KPCS today regulates 99% of the world wide diamond supply.
Eiseman require all off our suppliers to provide us written warranty, stating that their diamonds come from a KPCS- certified sources and are not involved in funding conflict. The warranty statement, which was officially as the creation of the Kimberly Process reads: The diamonds herein invoiced have been purchased from legitimate sources not involved in funding conflicts and in compliance with the United Nations Resolutions. The seller hereby guarantees that these diamonds are conflict free, based on personal knowledge and/or written guarantees provided by suppliers of these diamonds.
Responsible Mining Standards
Eiseman supports jewelry industry and nongovernmental organizations such as Earthworks and Initiative for Responsible Mining Assurance (IRMA) to encourage responsible mining practices. We commend IRMA’s initiative to establish a voluntary system of human rights and social standards for mining operations. By working collaboratively this diverse group of stakeholders will develop a consensus-based , third party certificate for responsible mining
