Tell us about Gumuchian and what makes your collection unique?

 Our tag line “designed by women for women” says it all. We are very proud to have received the Made in NYC stamp of approval as we design and manufacture all our collections in our  Atelier in the heart of NYC. We aim to give our collectors the finest piece of jewelry that suits today’s lifestyle.  

Where do you find inspiration for your designs?

My sister and I draw inspiration from childhood memories up to our present-day surroundings. There are endless amounts of inspiration that our world gives, and we re-create those moments that reflect the past, the present and most importantly, how that translates in the future. Our pieces compliment today’s trends while also remaining timeless for our jewelry to shine throughout generations. We have always had a very feminine, elegant and timeless approach to our designs not only because of how we were raised but because of who we are as women. Our designs reflect our commitment to creating pieces of the highest quality and we take immense pride in our impeccable crafting of jewelry making. 

Why is the partnership between Eiseman and Gumuchian such a great fit?

Eiseman is one of our first clients since the early 80’s, they believed in our brand vision and in our jewelry since the beginning. Their company along with Gumuchian value the two most important characteristics of business: quality and integrity. My sister and I both started working at Gumuchian at the same time as Richard Jr when he joined the family business. We both grew up with our elders teaching us the beauty of this industry and what comes with that is a real friendship as well. The entire Eiseman team is treated as a GIP (Gumuchian Important Person) and just like they give their clients the most incredible service, we too give them the same respect and service they deserve. 

What is the importance of a family-owned business in 2023 and what value does it bring to the community?

Being at least a 4th generational business, we bring the utmost integrity that is an integral part of the fine jewelry world. We stand behind all of our pieces as they reflect who we are. We believe in giving our collectors the finest executed jewelry designed and manufactured in our NYC Atelier, each item receives our stamp of approval before being shipped.
